Carrara Marble & Slate
Working along side our close business partners at Vistascape this fireplace was opened up back to the original size, Original brick chamber acid washed & repointed. We then fitted a marble surround & slate hearth before sweeping the chimney, fitting a steel closure plate & 904 Grade Flue Liner & Customer own supplied stove.
Limestone Fireplace
Cast Tec Hexham Limestone Surround & Custom made limestone chamber. We then supplied and fitted one of our favourite stoves the Dunsley Heat Avance 400 along with a 904 grade flue liner, new chimney pot and cowl.
Stack Repair
When chimney stacks are in need of recapping the only way to do it properly is to completely strip back all of the old mortar and replace with one new solid bed.
As part of this job we also supplied and fitted a full length stainless steel support plate that was bolted down to the stone work, this locks everything together and stops the below stonework from coming apart.
We then supplied and fitted two flue liners along with new pots and cowls to keep out rain and birds.
Avance 400 - Oak Beam
All of the oak beams we supply and fit are made in house, we take 8' Lengths of Solid oak, store & dry them before cutting to size and finishing, we are able to offer these beams in multiple finishes. The beauty of solid oak is that overtime they can misshape slightly adding to the character. If you want a beam that will never crack / change shape then we can also supply "fake" oak beams, these can also be useful when distance to combustible regulations do not allow for a real one.
